After Cleaning Care
While your carpet is drying, here are some helpful hints to speed the process:
If it hasn’t already been done, please set your thermostat to maintain an indoor temperature between 74 and 76 degrees. Set it to “cool” if the outside temperature is warmer than 70 degrees and or humid. We will usually do this for you before we leave your home.
DO NOT open your windows unless the technician recommends it. Texas is very humid, and humid air will slow your drying time.
Turn on ceiling fans or other air movers you might have.
Try to avoid walking on pile carpet for the first couple of hours to ensure the protectant is dry and the knap is standing up.
Please be careful walking off the carpet onto hard floors as your feet may be damp and the hard floor slippery.
